(“Oscar”) (NYSE: OSCR), the first health insurance company to be based on a full-stack technology platform, has a partnership with University of Miami Health System and Jackson Health System to offer Oscar individual and family health insurance to everyone Miami-Dade County Early 2022.

In maintaining these relationships more South Florida Consumers have access to a seamlessly connected clinical and insurance experience. The University of Miami Health System and Jackson Health System’s premier network of providers and Oscar’s consumer-centric, technology-centric approach to customer service and care navigation will bring more people access to a better health experience.

In the upcoming open enrollment phase Miami dade Residents living in the Oscar coverage area can purchase Oscar health plans for individuals and families that have affordable coverage of University of Miami Health System and Jackson Health System’s network of quality providers and services.

These health insurance plans are expected to be sold on the Federal Health Insurance Exchange with coverage commencing on January 1, 2022. The new plans and maintenance include:

    • Members will experience Oscar’s personalized approach to health insurance. This team can also make appointments with University of Miami Health System and Jackson Health System Providers in the member’s area and network and work with these providers to provide a seamless member experience and health savings.

    • Oscar members have 24/7 access to Oscar Virtual Urgent Care Providers at $ 0 when a member needs to see a doctor quickly.1 Tier 1 recipes are $ 0 even when prescribed by Oscar Virtual Urgent Care providers.2

  • Easily accessible special, pharmacy and wellness benefits that enable savings.

    • Affordable coverage from University of Miami Health System and Jackson Health System’s comprehensive medical services in all major nursing specialties, including maternity, orthopedics, and oncology – no referral.
