Multiple free COVID tests, vaccine clinics open to the public in the Oahu area. available

HONOLULU (KHON2) – Thanks to the City and County of Honolulu and Kaiser Permanente Hawaii, the public can get a free COVID test or vaccine at several clinics around the Oahu area.

Honolulu City Councilor Radiant Cordero announced on Friday, September 10th, that the public could be tested or vaccinated at Farrington High School on two separate Saturdays, September 11th and October 2nd. Kaiser Permanente will also be offering 13 additional COVID vaccines to clinics in multiple locations in Oahu from Saturday, September 11 through Sunday, September 19.

According to official figures, people can get a free coronavirus test or vaccine at Farrington High School on both September 11 and October 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Pfizer vaccine will be available from age 12 and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be vaccinated from age 18.

The coronavirus vaccines are administered in the school library and walk-in customers are welcome. To get tested, people can either drive to the school gym or do a walk-in in the auditorium. Officials said attendees should bring photo ID and health insurance card if possible.

Kaiser Permanente will also give vaccines to the public. Officials said walk-ins will be accepted and the Pfizer vaccine will be available. Johnson & Johnson vaccine availability is subject to supply.
